MUDDLE ALPHA TEST: Quick Instructions In this game, players are presented with a 4x4 grid of letters, and are challenged to find words on the board. A valid word starts at any letter, then moves horizontally, vertically, or diagonally around the board. It's permissible to move one direction, then another, although you aren't allowed to re-use letters in the same word. Words must be at least 4 letters long. Here's an example board:
In this board, we can get the long word adhered, but not radar (because that would require re-using a and r). Neither i nor in nor sin are legal, because words have to be at least 4 letters long. To play, simply click on a game, and enter the words you see in the text box. You can send in one word at a time (good to get them in before other players grab them), or many, separated by spaces. Other players see the words that you get, so you may want to look for similar words (ie, adhere, adherer) before revealing your great words. The game ends when the counter expires. If you reload the game within 45 seconds after the end of a game, you'll be able to see a post-game summary with the list of words that everyone missed. Then it's on to a new game! The games list lists the hall-of-fame for the past few days, as well as a few of the most recent games. As with the other snoot games, if you cheat it will result in a permanent ban, and the affected games (and high scores) will be erased. Play fair and everyone has fun! This game test is here to get your feedback! Post your comments, questions, and suggestions on our message board and enjoy! |
