You pack a small bag with the usual essentials and set out. The footprints are clearly visible in the snow and, thanks to the creature's size, navigation is easy. After many miles, the forest thins and eventually transitions into a large plain. In the distance, you spy some sort of complex, and see the track comes directly from it. Nearby, there is a very distinct divot in the snow, the only other blemish on the otherwise featureless snowscape. There you find a metal access hatch which opens after some exertion. A ladder leads down, but you can't see past the first few rungs.
