You carefully manoeuvre in the duct and get your arms down by your sides. As you open your eyes as wide as they will go, you start a rhythmic opening and closing motion with your mouth. You are ready.

The duct explodes with noise as your body flops around helplessly in the tight space, banging randomly against all sides. Mouth flapping, you can feel a forward momentum building up.

Suddenly, you hit the external vent cover, and you and it fall down into the yard. You barely register the herd of black cars as instinct points you to the creek running along the edge of the property.
