Hefting one of the legs, you confirm your hypothesis that the skeleton does indeed weigh a ton. You hook a towrope around the neck and test pulling it with your snowmobile. It manages, but the engine is working very hard.

Where to? You mentally scan the landscape for potential destinations.

The river: no. Probably frozen, will sink in place anyway.
The forest: no. Too dense to navigate.
The abandoned settlement: no. Too far away, only a basic hiding spot.
The cliffs: yes. If the snowmobile can make it up, the drop will displace it a long way, good for covering where it came from.
The old well: yes. Nice and deep. Might block the signals. But will it fit in the top?
